i recently updated my OS to [v1.24] from the download on the akai pro website, once i had updated i noticed that the mpc is not clocking my other machines right anymore , its like the first step is slow and then puts the whole sequence out of time . i dont know if anyone else has suffered from this problem , if so please help

You must not have downloaded the correct OS. Here's the right one to use. It costs the same as the broken OS you are trying to use, but actually works.

download 3.09, put it on a CF card, pop the card in the MPC, LOAD the .bin and away you go - clockin on time again.

enjoy

thanks for the reply steve . i have considered switching to the jj os but on top of this problem i am also having a problem with my pads sticking and staying on and turning on by themselves, I contacted akai about this twice and they have been no help. If i put the jj os on it will null my warrenty, and no one else seems to have any answers about the pad issue, so i may have to return my 2500 to germany for repair.
