Compact flash memory card question

hey..... so the manual or the akai website(cant remember which) said
that you should only use up to 2GB memory cards for the mpc1000
however i bought a 4gb memory card and have been using it before i saw
that it says not to use over 2 gb. my mpc is working fine with the 4gb but
will it cause problems in the future???

Just saying I'm not a techy guy so just in case one of you was
And knew that it would end up effing my ish up to let me know.

It's well documented that the 2gb limitation is no longer true (if it ever was..). I use 8gb Extreme III
