Couple of questions regarding Samplies

Hi there I have a couple of questions about using samples in the MPC. Basically right now I have all the samples I want to use stretched across all 4 pad banks, and all 64 pads have been assigned. What I now want to do with the samples is change the tempo of them all. I know how to do this one-by-one for each individual slice I'm using, but I'd like to know if there is a quicker way that I could just assign all to the same tempo. All the slices I'm using on each pad are 1 beat long, so its just a case of getting every one to fit to with the same desired tempo. Is there quick way I can do this without going through all 64 individually?

Next, I've been trying to figure out how I can make each pad so when I hit them they cut off the previous pad that was playing. i.e. if I hit pad A1 but then hit pad A2 straight after before A1 is finished playing, then A1 gets cut off and only A2 plays. I'm sure you get what I mean. I've been playing around but can't seem to get there

Upgrade to JJOS. Only in JJOS u can change the params for a complete program instead of each pad individually.

Read the manual on mute groups and poly/mono functions in the program mode section

I have the JJ OS, but when I go onto Program, highlight the program I want to work with and press "params" it still lists Pad A01 as the pad it will be making the changes to... by the way was your reply just concerning the pad cut-off i talked about? Or did it include the tempo issue?

if you select "whole" you can change the pitch of a whole program at once.

Hey poundaproblem, I can't seem to find an entry for "whole" anywhere in Program.... I only have the free version 3.09 version JJOS, is it available on here? Also, I'm looking to change the tempo of each sample I've assigned rather than pitch!

I think its Mode+Pad11. Cant remember because im not in front of my 1k. As far as changing the tempo...looks like you are going to have to do them individually in the trim screen.

Hello again. I managed to get the pad cut-off/overlap issue sorted so thats good

And yea I think you're right, I'll have to set each new tempo individually. Ah well, can't win em all!
