Does the s2000/s3000xl/s3200xl support IDE/ATAPI?

I did a lot of searching and found nothing. They seem to be in the family with the mpc2000xl which has IDE/ATAPI support so maybe? Any help appreciated, thanks.

That web page details how to install an IDC50 connector into the S2000 so you can use an internal SCSI drive such as a SCSI card reader or a SCSI Zip drive.

I've used ATAPI devices on the SCSI samplers but it requires a SCSI/ATAPI adapter, which are getting just as had to source as the SCSI card readers (at least the removable type). This has been rendered pretty moot since the older Akai S-series only support 512Meg drives, so I just keep a 512 Meg card in the sampler's reader.

I have this drive. I think its the same as the original MCD that comes standard on the blue mpc2000xl but in white.

My mpc2000xl screen is going bad and i want to upgrade to a sampler with a better screen that can utilize the sound files, sound formats, sound libraries, and internal expansions from my mpc2000xl (I have all the expansions) along with the card reader because its all stored on CF SM etc.

BTW do you guys know if the s5000/s6000 can support IDE/ATAPI?

I also forgot to ask the important question, do any of these rack samplers support FOLDER option like the mpc2000xl?
