Hello!
Apparently mpc5000 has 2 footswitch inputs but is a bit on the expensive side.
I should be able to start a loop or a pattern whatever the are called =) and change (to the next) loop without hands.

I'd probably want the mpc1000 or mpc2500 if I can somehow use them to start backup tracks live with my band.
What would you recommend?
Is it possible to use some sort of footswitch, a drum pad or anything trough the midi input IF there are no footswitch inputs?

And of course the sampler that would be cheapest and easisest to control with feet doesent necessarily have to be an mpc =) but I rather like what I've read about them...

Thank you!

In mpc2500 that I'm trying right now I can have a start/stop footswitch and the second I can choose to trig one of the pads.
I know it's possible to assign a pad to a certain sequence, but is it then possible to make one pad change to the next sequence or next song?

footswitch control is more limited than Midi, but less expensive. maybe in a JJos the footswitch implementation has been expanded?

barring footswitch control,,,

check if you can do what you want to do via midi.. (most likely yes)
check to find a midi controller that will send the appropriate message. (drumpad, fader, kbd, etc..)

let us know how you make out!
