Blue Backlight is Dim

Hello anyone that can help, my problem is that my blue backlight on my mpc 500 is very dim i am not sure if it is something that can be adjusted but if not does anyone know where or if i can get another backlight for it also does anyone know how to open the MPC 500 up properly to install new pads and the backlight? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The display issue is coveret in the manual.

you can change the contrast of the screen by turning the screw-head which is just get-at-able (new word) above the grey sheet of aluminum above the batteries. See if that helps ya.

be careful if you turn that screw, it breaks real easy!!!!! if ur contrast is ok, then dont fukk with that screw, my blue light flickers from dim to bright, so i think its the light..
