I gots a Proteus 2000 midi'd to my MPC 2000. I have three more expansion slots I need to fill. Can anyone give me advice on their opinion on which the best ones may be. As most MP'ers I'm into Hip-Hop and Dance. Oh, does emu have a forum. Thanks fellas. Deano

about the proteus forum, but there is a yahoo group for proteus 2500 users. I own the 2500 and have the pure phatt rom from the mo phatt module, which is great for hip hop especially with all of the sound tweaking possibilities. Additionally I purchased the vintage keys rom and the world expedition (from the Planet earth module). I am not inot dance myself but I have heard through a multitude of sources that the Beat Garden rom is great for this genre.

beat garden is wack; i took it back; not even worth sampling.
Pure Phatt is a gem! I have techno synth construction yard as well on the xl-1 turbo. This more than covers you on drums and synths.

I MYSELF HAVE THREE EMU MODULES AND ONLY TWO EXPANSION SLOTS LEFT. i USE THE PLANET PHATT, MO PHATT WITH THE ZR ROM EXPANSION ROM, AND THE VIRTUOSO ORCHESTRAL 2000. MY 2 EMPTY SLOTS WILL PROBABLY BE FILLED WITH THE ENSONIQ PROJECT ROM AND PROBALY THE PROTOZOA OR THE X LEAD ROM. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE WORLD EXPEDITION ROM. BOUGHT IT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT, POOR DECISION. THANKS FOR THE RETURN POLICY. TIP, ORDER FROM AMERICAN MUSICAL SUPPLY, I PROMISE YOU'LL LIKE THEIR SELECTION AND PAYMENT PLANS. 8)
