mpc 100 to midi

i'm trying to take sequences i recorded on my mpc and use my korg to add bass synth underneath them....but when i sync my mpc and my keyboard together it **** up the tempo and i cant get it to work to the right timing.....any clues?

oh yah when i goto record the bpm says "(EXT)"

you need to set the mpc as the master
