so I got fx1 and fx2 perfect to how I want them. When I save it doesn't save the effects so how do I resample so I can use 2 effects on some other sample but still keep the fx on the 1st two.

i haven't recorded anything yet , but i think you have to set the effects on the sample ( like you allready did) , then mute everything but the sample , then set record input to the main out (mode - record ) and then press record and play.
Hope i'm right , won't be too far off.
Greetz..

hes right, but you can just hit the pad you set the effects to in sampling mode. And then you can set the effects to a different setting.

so how do I get to where I have to hit the pad with effects is sampling mode in mode record or is that something else

i figured it out. thanks for the help

I thought I was gonna have to record and re edit each sample and that shit would take too long.

Go to "Other" and adjust the Master Gain to 0db when resampling. Default is -6db.

You can save the FX settings, but only as part of a Song. The FX processors are "global" that way, not assignable to one Program or Pad only, you only have FX send control at Program level. So that's a reason to resample too...

Isnt it at pad level, so if i choose pad a01 for effekt, it will be heard with every program using this pad?

Yes - at pad level you have FX Send level, it applies to that Program only - however you use that Program.

But the actual FX settings (type, parameters) are not saved in the Program.

You can use Step Edit to select FX presets, switch from e.g. Reverb to Bit Cruncher. But that's global, all programs and all sequnces in that Song.
So a pad should have chorus can change to something else: because all you said at pad level was "FX1 Send= 100", but you changed FX1's preset...

If that's confusing, think of the kind of FX built in to small mixers: a Pad is like a mixer channel with 2X FX Send knobs that lead to the FX. You only have the one dual-channel FX for the whole system - whatever the FX send level is - you can't change the FX type by channel (Pad).
