Hi folks,
Today i was transferring some audio from a DVD onto my MPC and found that they would not load, instead just giving me a 'Wrong File' error message. I then tried an accapella i recently downloaded and found the same problem.
Cue panic - reformat of flash card and still the same result. I then checked out the difference between samples already on the card and those i was trying to put on. The only difference was the bit rate, for example samples already on the card had an average audio bit rate of around 1,411,200, whereas the new samples were like 2,116,800.
I put the new ones into itunes and converted them consequently knocking the bit rate down, and would you know it, they worked fine.
Now this just might be me never having came across this before, but i have never had problems like this ever, just wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or advice on why this was happening.
Many thanks in advance,
Sean.
