I cannot get sounds out of my keyboard to play or sample into the MPC 2500.
I want to be able to sample any type of audio into my 2500.
I have an MPC 2500, MACKIE 1202 vlz mixer, NUMARK dj mixer, turntable, MICROKORG, cd burner, alesis amplifier, ns-10's and bx5a's.
I have it set up like this:
AUDIO
MPC mono outs 1-8 connected to the MACKIE 1-4, 5/6, 7/8.
MICROKORG outs into MACKIE 9/10, NUMARK mixer outs into MACKIE 11/12.
MIDI
Midi Out from MPC to the Korg, Midi Out from Korg to the MPC.
Program on the MPC set from Drum 1 to Midi, making sure all channels match on both pieces.
Should I put the NUMARK mixers OUTS into the MPC 2500 RECORD IN to record from the turntable, or the MICROKORG into the MPC RECORD IN when I want to sample from the keyboard?
THE MPC 2500 stereo outs <-------definitely confused to what is to be put into here.
Please advise or give any suggestions.
