and then get a coat of clear on it ASAP so you get no RUST!!!!

The screen printer was amazed, he told his team to manipulate it only with specioal gloves and digged a special tissue for it.

As we say in France "la Pression" !!! He has now a kind of challenge.

I'm happy because he is a real professionnal making screen print for our "NASA" and he has "pressure" to print my mpc !!!

I can get it tuesday (it's long 'cause of the polymerization), so get in touch if you want to see the result

I decided to redo the cursor. From retrospect, it started to give me the feeling of, make sure to push HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE look to it. Just a little too big. So I went with a more classy, low key look. Hopefully. I haven't put it on yet.

i'm loving how my mpc2500 is looking now after installing the wooden side panels, white screen, clear pads, & black data wheel... i also got a TEAC DVD-R/CDRW drive for only $20 & did the mod to it [yes, it can even burn CDs unlike some people thought]... and the final touch was swapping the silver volume knob for a black Q-Link knob in it's place to match the new data wheel...

thanks... i thought about that, but i'm kinda feeling the stock colored LEDs which are white and red... they match the white & red lettering all over the MPC and don't really look out of place.

what i would like though, is a non-painted black plastic frame for the CF card slot [mpcstuff has been out forever]... 'cause the stock grey one really stands out now.

Yeah...that would look good too- don't want to paint yours?

i'd rather it not be painted if possible... the thing is i know AKAI makes them for the mpc5000, so i'd rather not settle for the homemade version if i can avoid it.

ah- if they can be taken out without removing screws, you should go to GC and "liberate" one :D
