mpc60 or S950 with mpc 1000

Yeah it would be nice because I've often read on the Internet that the mpc60 is more "bright".

dont get a 1000

I have the same setup running the S950 with MPC 1000. I trigger and sequence the on MPC1000 with no problem. Sometimes I would take my drums/samples from the MPC1000 and run it through the S950 and back in to the MP for that grime.

please explain what you mean with "run it through the S950 and back in to the MP"
or explain how you do it..cause im about to buy a s900 and trying to get all the facts i can

i like older machines.. more simpler for me.. the feel is great.. and basically the only problem on the 60 is the screen, and u could still use it when its dim.. u dont necissarily need a brighter screen unless its real dark

I like the honesty...
I have a 3000 now and am a one time owner of a 1000. I too like older machines cause I'm from that era and 2 me the 1000 is raw as hell.

can someone answer my question?
would appreciate it !

he means use the 900/950 to sample sounds from the mpc, then sample them back into the mpc.
