Buy a 1/8 inch to 1/4(split Left/Right) cable

1/8 inch side(plugged into ipod) -----------------> Split 1/4 cable plugged into MPC

alot of times i dont respond to threads like this cuz i dont want to be a prick, HOWEVER, Seein as it is COMMON KNOWLEDGE that an iPod has an output, ( how else would u listen to it. ) How come it is so hard to put 2 and 2 together and figure out the solution. I dont mean to be a prick now, i am just curious how someone ( not just the author of this thread seeing as this has been covered time and time again, i mean just anyone in general ) can manage to work a machine such as an MPC but have to ask a question such as how to sample an ipod ? Maybe im just too pro-active seein as a been dealing with electronics and wires since i was a little guy, but it just seems like some ppl are afraid to think.

wus wild about this section of the site .... is we as deep / semi-professional users
of the MPC dont at least ask have they(new users) experimented with the equipment enough ... because maybe im jus too damn old .. but i can vivdly remeber haveing to
just play with the equipment, make friends who were into music production, read the manual .. get pissed the phuck off when i cant get it like i want .. just to realize it was a midi channell setting ... computers took all those learning/growing pains away but the fun of music production is always the learning process ...

bobby .... research ... and manuals are your friends fam.

get at'em :!:
