Anybody here up on Maschine yet?

you have to register with the company to make full use of the software..where as a mpc for instance does not need this procedure.small point maybe but when i tried to register id just arrived home on a saturday evening excited like a boy at christmas eager to try out the maschine the guy at the shop had enfusiastically hardsold me only to find out my registration was not possible due to some problem.oh yeah i also did nt have internet.ha ha.pissed off i was.....any way that and the fact next to my 4k it was a lil tame.high quality product tho.fook,you have to give all you details to a company!!!(i know its common nowadays)BUT..

i home from work waiting on ups(wish they hurry the fuk up)--prolly won't show up til 5pm!!!!!!!

Just got mine in the mail. I'm loading up the software now. I didn't take this into consideration but there is no way to sample using this thing. I'm going to have to sample my records in the MPC before I can use them. After some alone time, I'll give my opinion.

How is there no way to sample? You just plug the turntable into your interface input

Um, I think you need to at least check out some videos of others using it, if you don't want to read the manual (which is excellent and informative) before jumping to conclusions like that. Here's a few video reviews from saintjoe who replaced his MPC4000 with Maschine:

I'm having difficulty registering the software. I have to find a way to contact Native instruments during their working hours, which is difficult as I also work during those hours. Someone else has already registered my serial. I can't seem to demo the product either because when I plug the Maschine in it simply flashes twice then remains stagnant.

you need to contact the seller/ previous registered user, prior to shipping out the maschine to you. he should have contacted NI to unregister it.-

I had to go through the same process since I got mine second hand as well.

As far as activation goes, it seems to be that way for all NI's products, I gotta through the same steps to register battery 3 every time I install it.

I have my maschine on order now a new one from the store. But I already use konkant, battery, and massive so it seems from my experience all you have to do it send an email to ni with your purchase info, serial number, address and etc and wait til they email it back to you. Plus you have to have the service center app on your computer to run the demo and gain the activation code. It shouldn`t take no more than a day or two to straighten out. Plus if you go to the NI forums a mod can help contact the NI staff there. I read it in a thread over there. Good luck and the same for me when my unit arrives at my doorstep this weekend. It was pushed back by a day or so.

forgot to add when you contact the previously registered user, you have to include the license number in the email. since he has to include this in his email to NI to unregister it.
