excuse my noobness, but why used a s950 with your 60?

Repairs like thousands of people had to do with there 1000 pads? Truth is although old, they are still much sturdier then new MPCs. Can't wait to see the 1000/2500's on the market in 22 yrs.

I wouldn't expect much from Akai. You should look at the work NI is doing. Maschine already has MPC60/SP1200 sampling modes. LinnDrum 2 is officially dead.
