Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I have a problem when I trying format the copact flash car 2g Sandisk, the problem is that when I format the CF card in akai mpc 2000 xl, akai recognize the cf card, and create 3 partiton A-B-C. But when I put the cf card in the PC for put the samples sound in this cf, the PC with Windows XQ said to me it´s imposible read the CF card...

and I trying change, and format with the PC, but the akai don´t recognize the card !!!

I´m stay 5 hours with diferents experiments but it´s imposible...

I get put sound in cf make a experimet, I format cf card with PC, then create with MPCeditor a repair archives in the cf card... and the put the sounds in there, and the akai read the sounds ... but the problem it´s when I trying create a folders, if I create a folders no problem, but if I into in this, the akai said to me .... error at 0000:CAFC and I need restart.

My CF card it´s Sandisk 2 gb, my CF reader it´s the new from scsiforsamples.com ...
JD from scsiforsamples is helping to me a lot and , but us don´t get reapir !!!

Someone can find some solution for me???

I think you are getting confused about where you do what. Format the card only on the MPC and also create your folders only on the MPC.

As for why your PC cannot read the card, I don't know the answer to that yet. I can do it on my MPC and Windows XP and I think that all my other customers can do that as well. At least, no others have complained about not being able to read the card on the PC. So we are still working on that issue. He is using 2GB CF cards and running os v1.14 on his MPC.

Has anyone else ever run into a situation where an MPC formatted CF card cannot be read on their Windows PC?
