Pad Corx for MPC 60/3000

Hello everyone!
I recently ordered a new sensor sheet from mpc stuff for my MPC 3000. Now the sensitivity of the pads has improved greatly and I can reach 127 velocity without hurting my fingers. great improvement!
However, BEWARE of those pad corx they sell to supposedly improve sensitivity. I ordered them as well. They're no good for the 60/3000. After installing them all pads would trigger like mad, because they don't leave any headroom between the pads and the sensor sheet. At $15 it's a total rip off!, not even worth a dollar in my opinion!
Does anyone have a different experience?

lol, so long as you don't give it "extra's" it will be fine. Otherwise the pads might get a bit sticky.

Seriously though,it is hard to believe but the dude in the you tube video actually says it more than once.

Yes, I saw the video before performing the installation, and I did stick them on properly with a nice "massage"..., but useless

After all, I must acknowledge the honest good service of Mpc stuff.
After dissing about their Pad Corx, which for one reason or another didn't work for me, they contacted me and offered me a refund. They do stand by their products and costumers

I have the 4000 and i had to individually sand them down. Wish they came better spec'd. And yes, i massaged them. All that did was waste the time i could've been sanding them like a nut. Love MPC stuff.com, but this takes being handy to make it work.

the problem is that u didn't massage the pads with "love"

Pad Threshold (not Pad Sensitivity) settings in the Global menu need to be adjusted to compensate for the corks improved response. Threshold settings lower than "9" will trigger ghost notes and keep the pad firing. A setting above 9 will only fire the pad when hit.
