How do I know do I have the EB-16 effects expansion?

Hello, I know this guy who bought MPC 2000XL from auction, and I was wondering where you can check do you have the FX expansion? I dont know much about 2kxl so please understand my dumb question.

and.. did you find out or what?

the manual also has details on it as well, D is right, it will tell you if you try and access an eb-16 screen.
