Unvisible FAT12 MPC60 partition in Windows XP

Hi to all again,

DO someone had this problem ?

I have 3 pcs and a Mac @ my home.

On all of the pcs (xp only) i can't see the Compact Flash 1st partition of the CF Card coming from the MPC 60.

On the Mac, i see it.

Does someone use a software or something like that ?

I think you have to format a disk/card using MPC editor before Windows XP can read it.
It makes a partition 30mb in size that can be read by both the MPC and Windows. You then use this to transfer files.
You can also use it to make an image of your whole disk/card

i tried your option to format CF with MPC Editor, but then i only have 1 partition on the Card.
When i format it in the MPC i have 26 partitions.

Is there a way to have both the first partition visible in xp and 26 partitions for the MPC ?

I don't think so, but with any luck someone will correct me.
To back up your files I think you would have to format a card in MPCEditor and use the MPC60 to copy files from your card with 26 partitions to the 30mb card.Then put the 30mb card in the PC.
When you transfer files from computer to MPC you use the 30mb card to transfer the data to your MPC and then save to your other card with all the partitions.

I only have a few megabytes of samples so it's not been much of an issue for me.

That was what i was thinking to do.

the problem is that you need a hot swappable cf card reader.
