I haven't read the rest of the post but don't get the nano key it is **** wack. I bought 1 from HK the keys feel crap computer keys feel better.
The akai equivalent looks like a better alternative.

So i when an bought the Akai joint. I like it. Warranty package an all. Simple and effective. Thanks for all the input everyone. Now when im making music in my office at work its not so ((OBVIOUS)) which was a signifiant part in the need for a smaller size of the same number of keys.

oh shit, makin music at work... now I see. stealth mode. Gotta have an MPC500 for that right there.
