MPC60 Bad loading

Hi to all,

i have a problem with loading saves from the MPC60.

When i made a program and some sequences, i save them to a partition.

Then, I turn off the MP. and turn it back on.

I load everything.

But my sequence are all mess up, and the sounds don't load well.

They are just horrefull and unusable.

Did you heard about someone having this problem before ?

IU use MPC Editor to make my progs before, so the snd and pgm are for the MPC3K.

Any ideas on this ?

Sounds like you picked the wrong day to give up sniffing glue

3 things that spring to mind are :

1. Is your partition ok? do you get the same result if you save to a different card or partition ?

2. When you load the MPC 3000 files into the MPC60 the sounds get converted from 16bit to 12 bit (and I think the sample rate might change but I could be wrong). Did you make sure they sound ok after being converted ?

3. Sometimes when I'm transfering stuff from pc to mpc the file names get shortened if they are longer than 7 letters and the mpc will have trouble finding the snd files for my pgm's.

You re pretty damn right

I ve made all those tests, about 3 hours yesterday turning around this problem.

The problem is resolved, it was coming from the Scsi adaptor.
