Motif Tone and 500

I just recently got a motif rack tone generator and everytime i get to channel 3 or more the sound gets very soft like the volume has been turned down. Its hooked up to my 500 im not sure the 500 the problem. I tried changing the volume in the utlities for each channel in the motif and the volume is as high as it gets. Its only 3 and so forth that sound super soft channel 1 and 2 sound great. any suggestions as to what i need to fix?

make sure that the other channels/parts in the motif are not being sent to fx or anything.

Since the motif is a recieving device, it seems the source of this issue would be the 500. Are all the parameters on the 500 set accordingly so that you're transmiting on a midi port (which gives you what midi out port it'll be routed to) rather than a part?

And you may want to make sure each track has "instrument" selected instead of "drum" for the pad control type. This should insure that you have your transpose options available too.

From there you should be able to adjust and make sure the volume for each channel is where you want it.
