trust me when i say this, when i download to my desktop then shuffle it over to the MP, by usb, its doesn't showin up

I know people mention stability issues, but i dont experience any. Havent played too much with 1.26 yet though.

Me neither. I found JJ OS 2XL v. 1.24 to be very stable. I can recommend it to all os2 users.

Reminds me of last year! Nice. I'm going to request a TAP button feature in Loop Edit mode (For 2 and XL now). I've done this before, but at a time when JJ was busy with th Sequencer. We'll see. I love this stuff...

whats a TAP button feature?

It's a feature that's on all the old drum machines and newer grooveboxes. It just allows you to have the loop edit feature running and in addition to using the pads to trigger the assigned sample to the 16 spaces on the grid, you can also insert the sample in real time with the tap button. Not a big deal by any means, I'm just trying to complete my quest to make the Mp a complete groovebox as well as a traditional Mp. Kind of a best of both worlds type of thing. Since the undo button has no function while the Loop Edit feature is running, I think it would be perfect. Worth a shot.

1.25 is a big update and the quick turn around time with 1.26 was nice too; it's great to have you back J, we missed ya.

Yes, nice to see things improving again.

Nevertheless, I encounter a strange screen bug when I

1) record 1 bar
2) press stop
3) press overdub + play
4) toggle between loop on/off
5) BUG: cursor runs from left to right over whole screen instead of creating the 2nd bar correctly

V1.26, MPC2500. Anybody else?

I don't seem to have grasped this Loop edit business. At the moment I go into the drum grid hit loop edit and all it does is turn on the overdub and the pattern thing? Now I can't set a loop in drum edit. Its still normal in MIDI edit?

What's it supposed to do?
