I have a sample - its for example a 4 bar music loop on 119 bpm.
When i set it on the pad and place the pad event on the very begining of the drum type track, set the tempo of the sequence to 119 and turn loop on, there is a little gap between the end and start of the loop (just small but hearable)....

When i di the same but set the track type to audio, place there the exactly same sample, set the sequence to 119 and loop it, there is no gap and the loop is perfect....

Does anyody know why??

Fine tune your 119 bpm or adjust the tune of the sample in params.

Don't need to know why, don't need to know the bpm or anything, just try that.

Not once ever have I ever looked up the bpm of any sample, didn't need to (2kxl).

yes i know but i just wondered what is the difference in between the tracks that in one type of the track is the loop gapless and in the second one the loop is not perfect even the sample, tempo, start of the sample and length is same...

Maybe audio type is non linear.

Maybe drum track is linear.

I'm guessing as I don't have a 1k.

Non linear has no quantized trigger point. Drum track would be triggered iaw ppqn maybe?

Well you asked.

I'm guessing as I don't have a 1k.

In your signature it says os2xl, have you tried to change the release default value from 20 to 0?
Peace

^^ Yep,, It's the default release in program mode causing this.

there can be variations in the BPM of the sample, you could be using the wrong BPM to line it up. Either way, you need to tweak it. You can try pitching, time stretching and making sure the beginning and end of the sample are where you want them.

yes but its realy strange... the sample tune is 00.00 - as the audio track, it plays fluently but when i make another track in the same sequence which is drum, assign the same sample to the pad and start it on the very start of the 1st bar (with release set to 0 etc...) it not plays as good as on the audio track.... it realy f***s me because i don't see any reason why it plays so... :-(

Hmmm...

check your T.C., is there any swing or anything thats not allowing it to start at 0? Sounds like a strange issue but you may have to tweak to get it where you want. You may even want to copy the sample and chop up the copy to fill in the little gaps. Extra work for sure but better than an incomplete loop

i will check the tc and swing - these are only two things that i didn't checked...

This is strange, whenever this has happened to me it's always been the release value an chnging that has fixed it straight away.
