Having a bit of a problem when playing my samples

So I am trying to play samples from a jazz record, and when I hit the pads, they cut each other off. I usually would wan't this, but in this case, I want the samples to go through to the end each time they are hit regardless of me hitting other pads. I'm pretty sure this has something to do with Mono/Poly and every pad is set on Poly so I'm not sure what is going on. I checked the manual and couldn't find anything.

Setting a pad to poly affects only the selected pad. U have to switch the program to poly. upper right corner on the same screen where u can switch the pads to poly.
