Can someone please help me out. I've tried looking and searching all over the forum and can't find the answer. Here's my setup:
Korg Karma
MPC1k
midisport 4x4
sx3

I have the karma hooked to in & out a of the midi sport and synced with cubase fine via midi clock.
I have the 1k hooked to 1 & A to the B's of the midi sport, and 2 & B hooked to the C's of the midisport.

I would like to have SX3 as the master and everything else slave to it and on time (i've read some sync issues)

I've had the mmc in s3 setup and activated and deactivated and still get the same problem.
In the 1k, under the midi/sync setting i have in set to 1 and out set to off, with the 'sound to pad' or whatever on, since i'm using sound on the 1k.

Problem is, not matter what settings i have I get the same results.... when i hit a pad with a sound assigned to it (whether play/record in sx3 is pressed or not) all i get is this constant buzzing noise. I end up have to change the midi channel on the main screen to (ex. 2A) in order for it to stop, then turn it back to 1A.

Please any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

That´s a midi feedback loop you´ve created.

On the mpc just deactivate soft thru.

Why did you connect 2 outs and 2 ins from the mpc to the interface?

2 midi was my original hook up, before I found out that the 1k was not multi-timbral. I jus never disconnected it.

I'm not home right now, but I know that soft thru is on
