MPC 3000LE - Analog sampling vs Midi Sample Dump.

Hello everyone,

it's all in the title... if you have the choice, what's your preference and why ?

midi contains no audio, how do you midi sample dump ?

An analog sampler???? Wow that thing would be big!

But you can dump sound via MIDI.


This is a tough call.


What about analog MIDI? i think this would be the best as MIDI is 14 bit which would be perfect for analog sampling.

Midi Sample Dump function permits to transfer sound to the MPC via midi.

i mean:

If we have a sample in a computer to send into the MPC.

Do you prefer to record it via the analog input of the MPC

or

do you prefer to use the MIDI Sample Dump function ?

^^^ Midi Sample Dump I don't think too many folks go that route especially if it's a format that's not widely supported.
