hahaha I am going to have to name mines, she if oficially Kim lol jk but yeah man I opened it up and it would def be a mission to install that key. There's a authorized Roland repair store like down the street, I am going to try and get a quote. But I paid 600 for "Kim" lol

Damn good deal right there my friend... Kim is a beautiful name. Christine is named after the book/movie about a young man obsessed by a machine... You know the rest. Peace.

as true as that may be, ive dated 2 Kims in my life, and both of them were spaztic money sharks. Im just sayin, if you want your machine to be reliable after yu take care of her and NOT have to keep puttin dough in her, maybe Kim aint the best name.
Tranette or Amber are also two very beautiful names, and the names of the 2 best girlfriends ive ever had.

Keep me posted on getting that fantom fixed. I'm curious to know what it will cost you. I also want to know how you like it. (Especially once you really get into it.) Good luck, and good find!

Updated picture of my setup. I sold my Korg D3200 and got a Roland VS2400CD and also got rid of some of the stuff in my rack. Finally bought the Fantom X6 I've wanted for ages!!

Their cases are pretty much identical!! I wish the VS2400 wasn't so damn deep, it limits the desks I can use and the desk I wanted to buy originally.

You should get some dirt cheap bed covers and use them to cheaply surround the audio booth, it works real well, as ghetto as it sounds it's quite common (maybe it's already in your plan to do so anyway but just throwing it out there!)

Keep it up chaps, love seeing how people have their setups... shares the good ideas out there!
