(ALL) option works in (DRUM) grogramm doenst work in (INST) program :( ???

so do i have to adjust level ( 80 by default) parameter of each pad in (INST) program manually
...accross 64 pads ???

cannot believe JJ would omit this important otion...

any ideas?

So whats the alternative workaround
for abcense of (ALL) "(WHOLE)" option in (INSTR) mode,

creating "instruments" in (DRUM) mode and use Auto Chromatic assign?

Could i convert (DRUM) program to (INSTR) ?

how do u guys deal with this annoying limitation of (INSTR) program ?

I just (finally) bought a os2xl password and also noticed this. Also, when using "ALL" in a drum program or whatever, is there a way to select a group of pads (i.e. A15-C10) like in os1? Or are you just supposed to use shift to select mutiple pads at once?

Sorry if this has been covered, I never really used os2, so i wasn't sure if that is how it works too.

sane here , just got 2XL couple of weeks.. comin from JJ OS 1 ..
was shocked to fin out - there is NO ( ALL) option when started to dig dipper into (INST) program :(

by default the sample volume in (INST) mode is set to 80 and that is to soft for my liken .. so i need to change that as first editing to my instrument... but i cannot select ALL or WHOLE notes/pads simultaniously ... ???

donno how you guys work around that... ?

Yeah.. not having an 'ALL' option in INST is a slight pain. I just take 30 secs to edit each volume to 100 separately.

30 seconds to scroll through 64 pads - Wow that's smokin fast,
how do u do that?

Keep the datawheel spinning clockwise, and tap each pad right after the other, the value jumps up to 100 from 80 in a split second, so you can just go pad 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, etc. real fast.

I said I wasn't gonna post on this site again cos everytime I post someone seems come back with some shitty comment but I just had to say...

I'm running jjos2xl on both a 2500 an a 1000 an it seems that an inst prog just works from the one pad, e.g even if I turned down the level of pad A2 to 0 it would still play at the same volume as A1 which is where the sample is located.

I must be missing something?

YES! you 'r absolutely right... its solves my volume (ALL) problem instantly!
on the other hand its kinda wierd tat there is no way individually change volumes within (INSR) programs....?

Wait, did you map 64 samples, or just 1 sample spanned across 64 pads? If the former, individual levels for each sample should matter, if the latter, only the single spanned sample level should matter.

I mapped 1 sample spanned across all 64 pads
