I found an external hard drive for my mpc 2000xl but dont know how many gb it is.i plugged it into my mpc and the mpc recongnized it but when i went to format the hard drive in the mpc it gave me an error code "error 0000:D29C".I tried to partition it with the mpc but keep getting the same error message.I just purchased a scsi to usb port to see if i could get some info on the hard drive so i guess im stuck till that comes any ideas on how to get it to work or format it and partition it on a macbook osx 10.6 or i have my girls windows xp to use too let me know if you have any ideas.

it is probably too big for the os to see or read... i think 9.1 gb is the max, not sure though...
