This is my Akai MPC1000----Roland Fantom S sync set up:
1- Wires: MPC MIDI IN A to FANTOM MIDI OUT ; MPC MIDI OUT A a FANTOM MIDI IN;
2- Fantom: LOCAL OFF ; Sync Mode: Slave-Midi, MMC MODE: Slave; Soft Through: Off;
3-MPC : MPC ACTIVE TRACK RECEIVE CHANEL: all; SOFT THROUGH: as track PAD TO INTERNAL SOUND: on; sync in: off sync out: A( MASTER); mode: midi time code , frame rate: 25 ( mtc en fantom igual); send MMC : on
Both machines are connected to a mixer. Sound is right, audio is not the problem.
Does anybody know why I can´t hear FANTOM when I play a patch on Fantom´s Ch 1 and select a MIDI sequence (prg: off) on 1A ?
Thank you
P
