This is my second ASR that I copped somewhere around in '97. It's still in immaculate condition, I doubt if I'd ever sell it.

But if I had to, it wouldn't go for anything less than a grand.

Call me tripping...at least that guarantees that no one would buy it thus causing me to keep it for myself.

i respect your belief but i doubt you will get a grand for it unless you have the original box and stuff along that for the collectors but i don't see hardware making a comeback anytime soon but i like that people selling hardware frivolously

but I LOVE the look of the asr10 led
i could never have it because i hear they have the problems as compared to my lcd versions
but i dont think i could let my asr go even if i have 2 broken buttons and THESONIQ wont call me back!

who has the low down on eps 16+ problems... i think i am having a ram issue because it freaks out at random times and asks to reboot, or just shows random characters... could this be the sample expander as well?

most of the stuff is the same as the asr10 in a sense as sampling and all except for monitoring i think?
sampling goes by selecting sample then going selecting a instrument you want to choose by pressing the button you want sample the section you want from where ever then hit the key of the instrument you selected when dont to choose a root key i usually choose c4 but continuing on then go to edit and select wave this will take you to edit the sample before cutting it up if you edit sample start and sample end it will adjust play points to the part you want then truncate that sample to preserve memory( since you only have 1mb) go to cmd wave and go over until you see truncate wavesample hit that
now your on your way to chopping
from the ensoniq sensi jaeone

"Under the cmd wave menu, there are two options that may be confusing you:

COPY WAVESAMPLE....and there is also COPY WAVE PARAMETERS (this is for things like envelope settings).

I want you to SPECIFICALLY USE THE *COPY WAVE SAMPLE* choice.

It will prompt you where you want to copy to (either the same instrument you are in or a new instrument). Choose same instrument.

It will prompt you where you want to copy to (either the same layer you are in or a new layer). Choose same layer.

Then it gives you COPY = PARAMETERS ONLY OR PARAMETERS + DATA. Choose the first choice.

I guarantee you it says wavesample X created.

I am willing to bet you were choosing copy parameters right off the start in the cmd menu instead of copy wave sample.

My directions specifically say copy wave sample first.

Let me know if still doesn't work."

and to put your samples on specific keys go to edit wave and select the wavesample then go to edit layer and adjust its keyrange to the specific key
if you need more help pm me ill try and help the best i can its been a while since ive used a eps

but yeah i tried looking up the manual for you yesterday night couldnt find it

**** i looked right there to and looked right past it my bad

like i said what i told you should give you basic idea of sampling and chopping and for all those mpc traits like mono and all that make a note play on note on
those are the same on the asr and they are in this post somewhere back
