akai and jj. how is this really?

damn! are you real?
you got a programmer doin marvelous pieces of code , transforming a small toy like mpc1k into a very powerful machine and all you have to say is complains???
stick with that ultra limited akai os while we push things forward!!!

do you know how many mpc4000 owners would pay more than what jj charges to finally see the 4k os finished???
i used to own a 4k and it was so frustrating to see so much great potential misused cause nukai doesnt care about his customers....

people is really never satisfied....


oh and please, if you have to communicate on anglophone forums, please do some effort to be comprehensible! im italian, i dont speak that well english but , damn, you are talkin 100% gibberish!

I've never had a crash or any problems with JJOS2XL on my mpc2500 (black) except for once when i was switching between various OS's and forgot to press the ERASE button upon first load.

I don't require mixer automation.

JJOS2XL has so many more features, must-haves, less bugs and far, far, far less usability issues than the primitive and rubbish AkaiOS.

Quantise strength, a multitude of amazing features and a fantastically quick and efficient workflow rocks my werrld

That being said... god-dayamm how I want an SP1200! After all... it's all about the sound maaaaaan.

jj did a great work, stellar improvement...

in fakt we saw that jjos xl isn t really stable, that s why i use os2! what IS rock stable,

it fits for pro use, very well, i play and rely on it for live concerts, os2 din t fail.

the only exeption is that u need a good machine as jj os pushes the processor of the mpc at it s limits.

i used to have a n mpc what din t fit, it was a pain,crashes randomly, then got a new one, w new pads! and all went good.

Which MPC model did you upgrade to? and the one that was unstable?

Cause shit I got a Blue MPC1000 that's in need of a pad upgrade, so is mine the type that crashes randomly and is a pain?

i had a redand blue one w old pads(early model/china), aakai os worked well but not the jj os as it crashed randomly

thanxgod not in the live performance(i performed several)... it stuttered and i had to restart... i think it was individually

something wrong with the hardware of this machine, as i had to upgrade the pads, it was easier and made more sense to

get a brand new machine(mpc1000 black/taiwan w new pads) . now it s perfect. jjos2 rockstable and goood pads my new

liveact on saturday can come...

whoa, the red and blue 1000's are less stable ?? are you guys making this stuff up ?
