What souds "fater" when moving individual drums to the mpc3

i use to make beats on ableton and have a nice drum archive, some from the the internet (no mp3's) some i recorded my self from records which are all wav files. I see two option here on using my my archive with my mpc3000
1. convert my file to snd than fill up my 100zip disk
or
2.record them out my main out of my sound interface which has pretty good d/a converters

i am trying to get as much as i can from the mpc3000 fat sound
i want to make my 808's rumble as hard as they can

how can i best achieve this?

1)TR808 -> MPC
2)vinyl -> phono preamp -> MPC
3)use your PC you can go digi out to digi in on your MPC
4)PC->preamp ->eq->distressor->MPC

im thinking about going digi out into my digi in in my mpc 3000 but would the drums sound warmer if i go out 1/4" into the record in of my mpc 3000 to use its A/D converters which i herd give it that nice mpc3000 coloration or is htat just a myth.

if you have a shit soundcard the extra D/A conversion is gonna sound like doo-doo though (maybe)

Just leave the drums in your computer and sample them in as needed for each beat... the 3000 only lets you use 1 program at a time so its impossible to load all your drum sounds when making a beat... thats the only downfall.. I need to use my computer to layer and find the right drums before I sample them into my 3000.... I usually sample drums into the 3000 digitally from my soundcard output... it sounds fat either way tho...
