Hey again =)

Sorry for this silly question, but after laying down the drums hi hats etc. and the sample i was wondering damn how i can get those thight bass sounds like here in the video from Boon Doc ?

didnt even watch the vid, but read your post, try this....

ask yourself...how does anyone get sound to be played a certain way?? they fux with it till they get it right or they use filters, sample, etc.

getting bass sounds are really no different than getting any other sound to sound the way you want it. just keep at it.

Eat some beans, skip the beano. Drink a beer or two.

Hook up the mic to your MPC 500.

Record any digestive sounds that result.

Listen to your samples and make sure to crop them appropriately and apply normalization. Low Pass filter to your liking.

Use 12 levels to play your bassline.

What's up Tom,

It looks like he's using the midi controller to his daw or that roland sh. Like the other cat's are saying. Find sounds you like and modify them or not.
