Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

How does one preview the time-stretched sample when selecting a preset and new BPM?

Also, is it possible to apply the RIAA equalization curve to a sample from within the MPC500? I'm running a turntable through a non-RIAA pre amp with bass-lacking results.

Thanks,
Daniel

I have an amplifier, the Art Tube MP actually. I do not want to purchase a low-quality phono pre amp just to add an equalization curve.

And I still have not figured out how to preview my sample while in Mode -> Trim.

Thanks,
Daniel

Actually PAD 10 is the preview pad. It loops. But all of them preview except the pad the sample is actually on.

Thank you BLiTzZD, great to see someone helpful rather than talking out of their ass to appear informed.

And I found out you can indeed add the RIAA EQ curve from within the MPC500. The equalizer is under Mode -> Effect.

A three band EQ the RIAA curve is not. If you find the results useful though good for you. Of course you already knew that, so why break balls here?
