8 out Question (Please Help)

I tried the 8 outs on the MPC25K and it gives me a dry sound. No EQ and Compression or FX..

Is their a way I can use the 8 outs with the EQ, Compression and FX I don't solely want to rely on the stereo outs

And yes, I want to use my mpc compression no external compression.

And if the answer is no then why have the EQ & Compression option on the MPC.

Don't know why. Maybe to cut in costs. Maybe because Akai was aware of the fact that most users would run the assignable outs through dedicated fx units or apply them later in DAW because the FX on the mpc aren't that great to use them as ur final FX. They are ok to shape the sounds a bit and get to know a lil bit how things will sound like with some reverb or compression. And if u really want to use them as ur dedicated FX then u can resample the main outputs internaly.
