Looks flimsy.

What I have.

Oh no, it isn't flimsy at all -- rather the opposite (it actually feels almost over dimensioned).

We got one of those as well (not for an MPC) and they are very nice to use in the studio (but can't be used while working in bed as the table I just got).

Looks great! Good idea btw making beats in your bed. I still have to get used to the idea that i don't need to turn on the freaking computer on all the time to make music.

My plan is to use that bed table for both my laptop and the MPC -- soon I hope to move my entire office into bed, including a hot secretary.

Looks can be deceiving -- the table has a frame-lip that holds the MPC securely enough from falling off, (even at steeper angles than shown in the photo). Ikke noe koedderi her, gitt.

Looks secure from the front but there doesnt seem to be enough coverage from the back of the MPC. but it certainly is nice. looks well constructed. Custom made huh?

No need to have "coverage from the back". And yes, it's a hand-built unit.

Looks like that lip runs round the back also? Need more pics.

Also, yeah looks like it is practically hanging off that thing.

Looks good! That wood has a very deep looking finish to it.

Oh, thank you. The wood is oiled Walnut hardwood, and the tabletop is made of copper -- the most heat conductive metal there is (next to silver).

Is that really stable?

Either you have an overfirm matress or none at all.

My girl wouldn't allow that in bed, WTF? ???
