Hi, i want to upgrade to jjos2xl and it is required that you have jjos1 v4.99I, but i have jjos1 4.99l. not I but L... Ive searched alot for this problem as i thought that it would be a common problem. But it doesnt seem to be... any ideas?

In short, i need jjos1 v4.99I

thanks

also, it lets me load jjos2 (which requires jjos1 v4.99), but not jjos2xl (requires jjos1 v4.99I)... and i have neither, i have (as i know ive already said) jjos1 v4.99L

EDIT: i went onto the jjos site. It is only possible to download jjos1 v4.99L. v4.99I doesnt even exist!!! how am i supposed to upgrade?!?!?! :@

JJ's site says you need to have jjos1 v4.99I or more i.e. 4.99I or a later version

you are fine, you have a later version, just go ahead and install OS2XL

4.99L must be an earlier version. caus i cant see osxl on my mem card when in the mpc. Its definately on the mem card. On the jjos site it says that if you dont have 4.99I or more, you wont be able to view it... im thinking its actually impossible for me to do it (ive been researching this for about a straight hour). I might just have to setle with jjos2, which isnt THAT much worse. But still, not jjos2xl.

no, 4.99L is the latest, look on JJ's site (L comes after I in the alphabet!)

have you bought the password for OS1? It's not enough to have it installed, it needs to be registered

is the OS2XL file named correctly? I think the file needs to have a .os2 extension

the password is entered (i bought it pre installed and im assuming its installed because i can save). The file name was downloaded with a .txt extension. but as it says on the jjos site, when it saved to my desktop it changed to a .os2 file... this is really wierd. ive been talking with another guy about this and he said the same things as you. now he has run out of ideas... im baffled.

it changed or you changed it?

if you're using Windoze it's probably hiding the full filename from you - I bet the file is called mpc1000_jjos2.os2.txt or something

in which case, just change the filename so it ends in .os2 and try again
