New tape (Quantegy, Ampex) in Canada?

Hey, Im looking for some 1/2" and 1/4" tape for recording some sessions through a fostex and teac, respectively. I know someone on the forum here mentioned a place in Toronto that supplied/manufactured new, clean tape. Does anyone have a resource that could help a brotha out? I dont really care where the place is as long as theyll ship here.

man, I got a few new reels. I got one at a place here in montreal called steve's music (they have an outlet in toronto also) and it costed me 15 bucks. also a while back I went to value village and saw some for 3 bucks and bought all of them (brand new in the wrapper still)

a few spots still might have them, check your music shop because they might still have some in the back somewhere.

I looked EVERYWHERE in Edmonton. This is last resort typ-ish...

can I suggest putting up a wanted add in craigslist music section and/or electronics section. It's very likely someone will have some they dont want.

also maybe ebay will have some.

All the ads I got replies from on ebay wont ship to canada.....

and dont forget to track the final project from the tape onto the computer and post it for us to hear... I am interested in hearing the outcome of your project.
