Cant seem to get sound through my digital out (mpc2500se)

Hi,

Im using a mpc2500se

I use the digtal output on the mpc as my main audio output via a DJM800.
I have installed the latest jjos and it seems i have lost all sound through this output. I have tried a different cable and searched to find a setting on the mpc but still nothing. i have tested the digital inputs on the mixer and that works fine. Also i have tried the stereo output on the mpc and that works fine. what im i missing?? i cant see it being a hardware fault, its like a setting has changed or reset.

before install everything worked fine.

any help would be great!!!

I have checked the manual but can't seem to find anything!? Strange that just by changing the os could make both incompatible digitally speaking. Is there anyway of changing back to original os?

I use the digital out and digital in of my mpc2500 with JJOS2XL and it works fine with my RME Fireface800. In fact, all JJOS's have always worked with the digi in/out, so that can't be the problem, unless the SE does something different to the normal mpc2500, but I was under the impression that the only difference is the paint job.

Is there anyway i can change back to original Akai os?

ofc u can.. Just do it... the JJOS password/s stay in ur machine so you can re-install the JJOS's again at any time.

I would not give up on JJOS that easy my friend. Not really sure whats going on with your setup, but its probably something youare overlooking. I would start over again from scratch and re-download the JJOS (as you might have a corrupted file which ive experienced). to go back to the wack-ki os just load it on from your compact flash card.

Thanks for the help guys! Im gunna try re-install Then see what happens. I can live with using the stereo out for now.
