JJOS1->JJOS2: xl code is asked

hi folks,

and here we go again.

another dump question. and for sure. again. no one will answer me. i´m really not sure if i am at the right placeto ask questions.

well, the hope dies at last.

just updated from JJOS1 to JJOS2. everything works fine. beside the fact that i can´t save yet cause i need the password.

when im trying to save under JJOS2 it says "get a XL password" why XL? which password do i need?

tried to chek my product ID (JJOS1>MODE>PAD3... i think thats the right way to see the acual product ID) but there is no product ID to see. only the samples etc.

solutions gentlemen. please.

For the 2500.... quoted from JJ's site: "OS2 is not installable if the password of JJ OS-XL is not purchased."

1. i´m working with JJOS1 i´m able to save.

question1

how to i see my PRODUCT ID? cause MODE>PAD3 onlay my samples appears but NO PRODUCT ID

2. JJ OS XL is 113 bugs. right? JJOS2 is another 49 bugs right? my JJOS1 which i´m using right now. was 39 bugs.

question2:
so this means i have to spend another 113+49=162 bugs for OS2????

is that corretemundo?

I'm guessing JJ would rather be payed in dollars than "bugs".

On the 2500 you have to pay for XL in order to save on OS2.
It will cost $64 if you already have an OS1 password.
This is all assuming you actually have an mpc2500, because you still haven't told us yet.

I don't even have a 2500 and I know the answer just from reading JJ's site. If you buy OS-XL that password also lets you use OS2, but you have to install OS-XL first.

There isn't even a link on JJ's site to buy OS2 any more, so where do you get the $49 number from? are you looking at the MPC1000 prices? that's different from the MPC2500 OS

In your original post you don't even say you're trying to get the productID from XL.

So, I will say again, INSTALL JJOS2XL AND THEN GO TO THE SAVE SCREEN TO FIND YOUR PRODUCT ID.

If this fails, write JJ an email describing the bug and ffs chill winstaaaaan.

chill out, lad. let's break this down.

you started out by saying noone would help you, then asked "why XL? which password do i need?" which got answered. you did say something about the product ID, but it didn't look like a question, so might have been overlooked.

then you asked two questions, about product ID, and about how much OS-XL costs.

then jimmie answered BOTH questions and as part of that he pasted part of JJ's site, which says
