XL 1.29...

why is it so hard for meself to download these update to thee MAC
i keep on gettin the text edit bar up top.
so i try again ( alt / click & ctrl / click ) and mpc2500_xl129.osx 2 file is not showin up on thee MPC.

whut in thee hell am i doin wrong ? ( i might be cpu impaired, but iam really not that stoopid )

That would be interesting, but hopefully there is a little bit more mileage in XL before he moves onto something else.

I think if the qlink issue could be sorted it would complete the os for most of us, because having 4 recordable qlinks would be dynamite for 2500 users.

OK I find it out.
I have a 909 Bassdrum, the Level is at 100% and my Master Level is on -6dB...... and the Input Thru Master Out Record Sample is overdrived.....

When i changed to -12dB, the record is ok........!!!???

Why is it so ?

damn you're right!! i didn't notice that until you mentioned it. wonder what happened?
once he removed mpc compatibility that sequencer became more useless than it was already.

I'm glad it's gone. Now all the focus remains on the JJ OS.

I think my man is deffinately up to something. I hate to say it. but the sequencer must have been a big disapointment to him. He seems to be back making new additions, but that wouldn't make him any more money. I just checked out the site and there's a new free update that allows you to upgrade straight to 2xl. That might make a couple bucks, but not enough to pay the rent. Maybe my man is working on something new...

Don't forget about automation... This is one of the big things keeping me with os 2. Though I have to say I may just jump ship... I don't know about for good, but xl seems to be the bomb

I'd be all for JJ using RAM as code space and loading extra features off of the CF card. I wouldn't mind giving up a few MBs of sample space to get a bit more fleshed out functionality.
