Wanna make the pads on my MPC500 softer.

i beat off, and jizzed on my pads to make em softer. Try it, take the mp apart, take the pads out, and have at it..

Those cork pieces are super easy to install and make the pads mad sensitive, thus you don't have to beat them like this thread...a dead horse. They have colored pads too, so you're set to jet.

I wasn't really feelin' my MPC 500 when I first got it 'cause of the stiff pads, but now it's a frickin' blast.

yea, and black electricians tape works too, 4 pieces per pad fills the gap, a lot cheaper then those corks, what a ripoff!! its all about common sense man, if people would just use it they wouldnt ask so many questions,. thats why there is sooo many pages of wackness,. do you have any clue how many years ive seen this question asked over and over again????

See, that's all someone had to say..."just add electrician tape." Wish I would have seen that before I bought the cork pads, but I'm still pretty happy with them and it was super easy to install. I searched this board before buying them, but didn't really see any helpful responses.

we have told soooo many different ways on sooo many different threads on the same subject forever now, im sure a little digging threw the forum would turn up the anwser, i mean if ur having a problem with ur mpc someone else probably had the same problem, some people have been on this forum way longer then me, and have given so much helpful info, but no one wants to search for it.......

yo, jhouse, let us know what becomes of those corks, im interested to know if they eventually come apart like corks normally do, that would be a pain in the a$$ to have to clean cork pieces outta ur mpc, its too bad they just cant rubber to the pads when they make em..

What makes them even harder and increase sensitivity

Oh wait, we're still on the same subject, right?

2500 pads feel nicer to work with; bigger and square. JJOS has finer control for changing the sensitivity thresholds. My 500 is padless, but if you're truly unhappy like I was, maybe a 2500 is worth it for the better pad feel.

Common sense has nothing to do with inexperienced users, I love this forum due to the fact this is the only MPC forum I have found. but truth of the matter is some of the user's here act like the asking of a simple "How to" question is completely out of the context of asking for help here.

I understand when users dont read the manual or reference guide, then by all means give him hell. but when a user askes other fellow users who have MPC's how to softing up the pads which IS NOT covered in the manual and u all jerk his chain for the fun of it, that pisses me off and i think its eff'd up

/thread, it has gone on for too ong. Heres a solution, buy a bigger MPC.
