Those cork pieces are super easy to install and make the pads mad sensitive, thus you don't have to beat them like this thread...a dead horse. They have colored pads too, so you're set to jet.
I wasn't really feelin' my MPC 500 when I first got it 'cause of the stiff pads, but now it's a frickin' blast.
