Cool samples/loops for Indian instruments?

I did but all kinds of crap mixed in with a couple maybes.
If anyone knows a particular good site would appreciate.

What type of indian instumentals are you looking for, the ones from Bombay or the native american type or maybe west indians?

search for Sitar, sarod, tabla, Sarangi

I actually own a Sarod. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet though.

Start by listening to Ravi Shankar. Also listen to Bhangra, its a type of music hailing from the Punjab region of India/Pakistan which focuses heavily on Dhol drums and crazy rhythms. You might laugh but a movie came out a few years back called "Bend it for Beckham" and the soundtrack has a tune by a guy named Hans Raj Hans with crazy Dhol drum breaks.

Bollywood soundtrack albums shouldn't be too hard to find and might be a good place to grab some samples
