tired of my mpc 2500

hi,i m on the mpc 2500 and i really think about buying a classic 3000(dont want 2000xl)my tap tempo button doesnt work nowadays..i must press sometimes 3 times on track mute button or mode one before it works.i changed it with the q link s after button that i didnt use and it still dont work fine.i want to change the right pcb board but mpc stuff is out of stock for this item.and i really afraid for the future of my 2500 !!i dont want to change all the parts of the 2500,today it s the pcb board what it will be tomorrow!!?? i ll repair it for sale it ,and i also realised i dont use a lot of fonction,like the fx or the 128 ram etc....i think the filters are poor..so i would know what do you think about change for the 3k??i know the specs are not the same for sure ,but what do you think about the sound and the analog filter of the 3k over the 2500??thanxxx

It's probably just the tact switch in your tap tempo button.

I think you would have quite a shock coming from the 2500 going to the 3k

No Track/Pad mute or what ever it's called
No Waveform display
No chopping as you know it any way...
No WAV support
No this no that...

But with all that I'm thinking of selling my 2k XL for one after I played on a few 3k's...I quite like them but don't know if I could sell my XL

No matter how vintage or nostalgic those old ass classic machines are, I could never give up my new machine for one of them.

While the MPC 3000 is awesome...its OS does just a fraction of what the MPC 2500 does regardless of what OS you choose.

The MPC 3000 doesn't have an analog filter and its effects are nothing more than a delay or reverb if I recall correctly. If you believe it has a magical sound, best believe it does not equal all the things that come with the MPC 2500 starting with sample, program, equence, and grid editing.

And if u buy a 3k u probably have to do some repairs and replace parts anyway sooner or later.

IF.............................you buy the 3000 youl probs really enjoi using it.you should get one anyways or youl never know.yeah!!
