Does anyone here read Wax Poets Mag

Is it any good? I am interested in a magazine about digging but I have never seen it before in news stands.

Wax poetics is a superb publication. Not only will you learn about the many styles of music and the people who wrote and performed it, but also of the interesting backstories behind the music. Highly recommended.

Oh and Lord Toranaga, holla at me if you ever sell issues 1 & 2 (I need these to complete my set)

Do they still ship in a clear bag?

The oldest one I got is #12 and it was the first time I saw that mag. It was about Phase2 graf writing, Dave Matthew and his story behind James Brown's music (Yup, Black and Proud was written by a white man!) and Latin album cover art. I loved that issue so much that I keep my eye out for them even though they're hard to come by.

I try to pick up at least 4 issues a year.

I always get wax poetic dope articles well written and good photos. Get a subscription, this year they been doing free 45s with a lot of the issues and they have a write up on the 45 in the mag.
