E-mu Emax Rack

been on the lookout for the rack version of E-mu's Emax 12-bit sampler. seems like there hard to come by right now...

but i was wondering, for anyone who owns one, if i could get a list of dimensions? mostly just the depth i guess, since i already know its a 3U rack unit.

i know its a simple question, but its just a weird quirk in my studio so i gotta know the depth of it so i can determine if it will fir in the rack.

and if anyone has spotted one while their viewing this post, feel free to send me a link

There's a rack SE on ebay.

dont know the dimensions offhand, but i do know that its wider than it is deep (and the width is 19" for standard rack units) so the depth is less than 19". Hope that helps.

yeah i just spotted that, i dunno what they usually go for. $500 seemed a little on the higher end from what i've heard tho, so we'll see.

but yeah thats a good point, that its not deeper than 19in. i'll keep lookin to find some exact specs

I guess you're right, from what prepal suggests...$3300.00 retail when sold new, now barely $250.00 these days.
