Please add "Chop at Play Marker Position":

I want to control the new Play Marker using the Data Wheel. I want a function to ADD CHOP (or DELETE CHOP) at current play marker position for creating new slices (Chop 1 - Chop 64). Chops can be chosen by hitting corresponding pads A01-D16.

Sample Zoom In and Zoom Out should work with this new function.

A basic feature I'd like to be added : PITCH on input thru (not the shitty pitch shift)
Fact is I'm often stuck with my turntable which doesn't have ultra pitch (only -/+10%) so I think that could be cool for crate diggers.

Please add the V>Level and other V> features of the original AKAI OS on the pad filters and ADSR, so the filter and the ADSR acts different relatively with the velocity the pad is played.

fae wrote:Is it really to make FX's as AUDIOSUITE ?
I mean:
- select sample -> edit -> select FX (f.e : EQ) -> make parameters and adjust it to sample with overwrite function.

It's too long to send sample to FX then resample, disable send to FX, adjust FX'ed sample to pad and etc...
Thanks.

I'd like to see a feature that:

auto time stretch all the samples without changing the pitch.

I'd like a feature that lets you preview a sequence by pressing "Play Start" while in the load screen so that I can preview samples over my beat before I load them up. The 500 had this feature, so I'm kinda confused as to why I go a step up to the 1000 and now I'm missing that feature.

first up.. any1 know an email address to send requests to JJ personally.. The email address I have is from 3 years ago when I bought JJOS and it doesn't work anymore.

I use my mpc2500 as master.
I send Midi Time Code to Cubase.
I send Midi Clock to my Kenton Pro 4 Midi to CV converter in order to sync up my Roland TR808 and TR606.
The Kenton Pro 4 only accepts Midi Clock.
In the mpc I can only send either Midi Time Code OR Midi clock out of two MIDI ports (e.g. AB) simultaneously, which means I can't have my 808, 606 and Cubase synced at the same time.
I don't want to send midi clock from Cubase because 1. it's not as tight, 2. I don't want to have my PC and Cubase running in order to make tunes and 3. constantly switching midi cables is a big PITA.

My request:
Be able to send Midi Time Code out of A and Midi Clock out of B simultaneously (or CD).
I really hope this is an easy one and everything is in place already for jj to do this easily.
Cheers.

jimmie, I understand your concern. but the disclosure of JJ's email address is forbidden on the MPC-Forums. My suggestion would be to contact him through the bug report section of the website and explain simply how your suggestion for an "addition" would be very helpful.
Hope that helps.

In the Timing Correct window it would be nice to have a RESET option on one of the open F keys that will reset shift timing to 0 and swing to 50%.

LOOPING: cross fade looping for alternate loop (smooth out the click!).

Well, I'd love an improvement in the cross fade editing too:
- Possibility to set crossfade length and type (equal power, linear).
- Possibility to write crossfade to file (like S-series samplers have).
